 The
main difference between the Super GTM-RB and Super GT-RB reels is their gear
ratio. The GTM is fast-geared for optimum speed performance whilst the GT
provides more torque and power. The gear ratio of the GT version is one
rotor rotation slower and offers extremely high cranking power. This makes
the reel useful for ‘The Method’ and other heavy types of fishing where
power is preferred over speed. In addition to the familiar Super GT reels
and purpose built match edition, a new 3000 shallow spool reel is now
available; more than twice as deep as a standard match spool, and far
shallower than a traditional full capacity spool. Perfect for the higher
strain/larger diameter line used by today's angler, without the need for
