ARMO TRIDENT AQUATEXX LOGOWhat is the purpose of the trident? This question has been put to us many times since its launch a few weeks ago. The trident is offered as an alternative to the MKII 1man Armo. It is manufactured to the same exacting standards, and incorporates Aquatexx® Fabric.

The differences are as follows:

  • The front sections can be completely zipped off, allowing for the popular open front design.
  • 3 section poles: fewer pole sections allow the Bivvy to be erected and packed away quicker than conventional pram hood designed Bivvy’s.
  • When packed away, the longer slimmer size allows the Bivvy to be transported in a Quiver.
  • Detachable front peak.
  • Because the trident is based on the MKII 1man Armo, all of the existing MKII 1man wraps will still fit the trident.
